Naon Jeong (1991~)




Naon Jeong is a creative artist based on the Korean Island of Jeju Island. She was born in Korea in the spring of 1991. She believes that everyone has their own unique point of view, and she paints her paintings because she wants to show people the world she sees through her eyes. Taking an interest in everything in the world she enjoys working with lines and coloring the objects that catch her eye.



정나온 작가는 제주도를 기반으로 창작활동을 하고 있습니다. 1991년 봄, 강원도에서 태어난 그녀는 모든 사람 저마다 고유한 시선이 있다고 믿으며 자신의 눈에 보이는 세상을 사람들에게 보여주고 싶어서 그림을 그리기 시작했습니다. 일상에서 눈길을 사로잡은 대상을 자신만의 방식으로 표현하는 작업을 하고 있습니다.

    Why I Paint

    I believe every person sees the world through their own unique lens. When we look at others, we often end up seeing parts of ourselves. In fact, I find traces of myself in everything—in people, in nature, in quiet moments. That’s why I paint: to share the way I see the world, and perhaps, to hold a mirror to the unseen parts of who we are.

    저는 사람마다 세상을 바라보는 고유한 시선이 있다고 믿어요. 우리는 타인을 바라보면서도, 그 안에서 결국 나 자신을 발견하곤 하죠. 저는 모든 것 속에서 나를 봅니다—사람들 속에서, 자연 속에서, 고요한 순간들 속에서요. 그래서 저는 그림을 그립니다. 제가 보는 세상을 나누며, 누군가가 그 안에서 자신도 몰랐던 ‘나’를 마주하길 바라며.
